The Adoption Process

First, check out our available dogs and puppies.  Contact us if you have specific questions about any of the dogs or for counseling on the right match for you.  We want each adoption to be a good fit for the dog and the family.  This will be a lifelong commitment- possibly 15 or 20 years!  You owe it to yourself and your new family member to make the right choice.  It's a big decision. Next, fill out an application.  Be as specific as possible about your dog experience and what you are hoping to find in your new companion.  A Cold Nose adoption counselor will contact you either via phone or email if there are any questions, then to arrange a brief personal interview and a meet and greet.
Finally, meet your prospective new companion!  If everything goes well, you will complete the adoption contract and welcome your new family member home.  A wonderful new beginning!
